PeacefulDisorder.com began with a love of fashion and all things stylish. It was founded with a desire to make the world a little better than it was before.
Our mission is to bring you the latest in eco friendly clothing, accessories and beauty products. We offer a generous selection of Organic clothing for men, women and children. Our baby organic clothing is more than yoga pants and tees (although, we have those too!).
I have searched far and wide to provide you with the trendiest styles at reasonable prices. This is true shopping with a purpose because a portion of you sale will be donated to charity. No buyers remorse here!
Why Organic Cotton Clothing?
I first heard about organic cotton clothing at the recommendation of my son’s pediatrician. We had been battling eczema since he was a few weeks old . I had tried a variety of creams and washes that all just seemed to make it worse. At my son’s two month check up the doctor said “ a baby’s skin shouldn’t feel like this”. He began to ask me if I wanted a prescription but mid sentence remembered who he was talking to and chose to offer a less invasive alternative.
Up to this point I had not even heard of Organic baby clothes. I scoured my usual boutiques and found about three outfits. I saw a dramatic improvement in the days following. In my quest to find more I began to learn about the other benefits of going organic. I had always purchased organic food whenever possible but Organic clothing?
My life has always been a struggle between two sides of my personality. The brainiac versus the cheerleader. I love clothing. It sounds ridiculous and shallow but it is true. I can look through the pages of fashion magazines and tell you who designed what. I love fashion! But the former student government member in me knows the cost to the planet. Each little excess is only adding to the worlds problems.
It was a slow go but here we are. I have searched the world for the most up to the minute options in eco friendly clothing. I don’t put any thing on this site that I wouldn’t wear myself or dress my family in. I believe in fashion but I know the world needs help.
